So the team just came back from a Joe Budden concert in Toronto late Saturday night, which you can already know and expect it to be a rollercoaster ride of an event. Joey didn’t hit the stage till close to midnight, but that was only a small issue, the bigger problem were the opening acts. The promoter had gotten her homeboy who was literally wearing a 4XL sweater, a bandanna wrapped around his head, and one around each wrist, as well as a fitted cap tilted on his head… all making him look like a Hip-Hop caricature.

But it doesn’t stop there, oh no no no, if it only did. While on stage performing some God-awful music (mistake #1), the opening act completely loses the crowd interest with his messy and unrehearsed set (mistake #2). Shortly, he ends up in a shout match with a member of the audience and threatens… yes I said “THREATEN”, the concert go-er for not “liking” his music (mistake #3). The crowd then starts to get restless and starts demanding the headlining act, in which case, the brilliant opening act decides to DISS Joe Budden, multiple times (mistake #4).

I might’ve forgot to mention that almost all the media personnel for the show (photographers, bloggers, interviewers, etc.), including ourselves, were having the time of our lives watch the struggle on stage take place right in front of our eyes. We began a live slander fest and personally made the uninterested crowd boo the act off stage, to which everyone in the venue clapped after he departed.
